This weekend was a total surprise to me! I had reserved myself to the idea that I couldn't go to JungMin's birthday party-then out of the blue I get a text message from a friend saying she had an extra ticket! I was so excited because I had an aweful day before I got the text. I went to Seoul on Saturday and had a great day, then church Sunday. My friend and I parted ways after church-she went to buy us the DeJa Vu Single (can you believe it! I have been a fan for 2 years and still didnt have this CD-FAIL!)and-I headed to Konkuk University to meet my Korean friend for the party. I met my friend and 2 girls from Singapore then we tried to find the venue!
We arrived at 240pm and the party started at 3! The MC came out and was acting silly, then he introduced JungMin! Jungmin came out in white pants, a blue shirt, and a black/white tie. We sang Sangil Chukha (happy birthday) to him-then he cut his cake-with a huge knife! He then started looking at his presents! There were a lot-as expected. I didn't take anything because i didn't realize that I could! I did however, take something for friend. She drew a picture for him and wrote him a letter. It was very nice!
He then answered five questions from the audience (questions may be out of the correct order):
1. question: will you take a picture with my camera?
answer: the girl came on stage and gave him her camera but she was too shy to be in the picture with him! He finally took a self cam of the 2 of them together-then gave her a gift bag full of cosmetics
2. question-do you like horses?
answer-yes I am taking horse back riding lessons now (he then gives the girl a gift bag!)
3. question: Will you kiss me?
answer: girl comes on stage and they face each other-he hugs her then blows her a kiss. The audience got jealous so he blew kisses to all of us as well!
4. question: will you write your name with your butt and give a heart greeting?
answer: he tells us to sing to him so while we sing-he writes his name and a heart with his butt!
5. question: will you marry me?
answer: when the girl comes up on stage he runs across the stage-picks her up swings her in circles around the stage! So cute!
all the girls got a hug and gift bag! He then sung "Everyday is Christmas" but changed "Christmas" to "birthday"! They then did the game that they do in Korea for a baby's first birthday. They put a bunch of objects on a table. Whichever object he chooses-will determine his future. I don' remember all the objects but there was a doll to represent a girlfriend, a key, and a few other things-but they forgot money! So they asked the audience if they would give JungMin some money. One girl did but when he found out that she was a student- he said to give it back! Then another lady gave 10,000 won. He then said his family was there (they were sitting in the row in front of me!) The MC found them and JungMins dad gave 30,000 won for the game. Then it was time for the game! Anyone who has been a SS501 fan for any amount of time-knows that JungMin LOVES money! He would pick up an object, then the money and he kept repeating the process! I looked at my friend and said he should just pick up the whole table and sure enough-thats what he did!
They then played a game to find his ideal woman (to bad MinnieMe wasn't there!) 16 girls were called on stage and given mask to put on. The girls came up in groups of two and stood in front of JungMin -facing away from him (he wasn't allowed to see their faces!). One girl would move on to the next round and the other was eliminated! The girl that was eliminated got a flower and a hug-so either way it was a win win situation for those 16 lucky fans! When it got down to the final 2 he waved back and forth between the 2 girls. He gave one an elimination flower and then went up behind the winner and gave her a hug from behind! As her reward she got to take a self cam pic of them together with her cell phone and a 10 second video message to her from JungMin!
Then this kid named Justin came out on stage to sing. I was very disappointed in the fans at this point. People got up and was walking around and talking-totally ignoring the guy singing! Then the MC came on stage and said something about a friend being there and everybody started yelling for Kim Hyung Joon! Baby Joon then came out and sung oh ah! He looked good! Then he yelled for JungMin to hurry up and get out there. JungMin came out looking extra sexy in jeans, a t-shirt and opened button down shirt. They talked a bit and the audience started chanting to kiss again! JungMin leaned over for Joonie to kiss but Joonie said no and stuck out his hand for Min to kiss him! Of course Min did! They then danced a little bit of the chorus to oh ah together. They talked about JungMins half naked magazine pics :) :) :)and it was suggested that Joonie do the same so JungMin tried to take Joonies shirt off-but he wouldn't do it! Joonie then left the stage and they showed a fanmade video for JungMins birthday. He was so cute and sat on the floor of the stage like an obedient child. At first there was only one body there-but by the end of the video-there were three (mc, JM, and HJB!) Jung//min then yelled at Joonie for coming back on stage again and told him to leave and to stay away from his cake. As Joonie left the stage, he went over to check out Min's presents. Min caught him and yelled at him. Joonie left the stage but tried to snoop three more times! Classic Tom/Jerry moment! Min then sung "am I the only one" (not sure of actual english translation of song title) Then they showed a video of JungMin thru the years with SS501 and solo to determine when he looked the sexiest-I thought they all looked good! Then it was over! I was sad~but wait there was more! Before leaving the stage, JungMin said something about high-touch. My friend said that meant high five. I thought she meant he was sending us a high five like he did with blowing us kisses earlier. They then started dismissing us by rows. I asked my friend why-and she said-"didn't you know? JungMin is giving us a high five as we leave!" I was shaking-I did not expect this! I finally got to him and he reached for both of my hands, interlaced his fingers with mine and started shaking our hands together. I told him happy birthday and he said "oh Thank You very much!" in english. I then told him that I was the one that has his rabbit Lapin. He didn't understand-smiled cutely-raised his eyebrows and questioned "pin?" I laughed and repeated "Lapin-I have Lapin" he was then like "oh Lapin-you have Lapin-ok-good!" Just to make sure he understood-my friend told him in Korean what I had said to him. We then moved the exit where there was a table. They gave us each a gift bag that had a poster, stickers, and a bag of candy that had a note from JungMin on the front of it. Once outside, there was a table selling special postcards so I had to buy a set for MinnieMe (and one for me of course!)I was shaking from excitement from finally meeting mr sexy charisma himself! @ down, 3 to go! Now I need to meet HJL, HJB, and my precious YoungSaeng! Some day my wish will come true! After the pary I went to dinner with 5 other triple S (and one of my best friends). We were a very international representation: USA, Canada, Korea, UK, and Singapore!
Korea and other fun stuff!
my life in Korea-but mostly stuff about SS501!

MinnieMe4PJM’s Account of Park JungMin's Busan Fan Sign
Feb 9, 2011
I’m on the KTX train writing my story because 1) I’m afraid I’ll forget if I don’t write it out while its still fresh in my mind and 2) my heart is too heavy and sad to sleep. My heart is always that way after I leave my JungMinnie. :(
Before heading to KTX station, I bought some steamed gogi mondoo to enjoy for lunch. While eating, I watched the Korean Drama with JoKwon from 2AM. It was funny. While at the station an interesting thing happened. While applying my make-up, a man walked into the woman’s restroom. This is interesting because it happened to me just the day AT THE SAME station. Hmmm... I know what you are thinking. YES, I was in the CORRECT restroom.
I boarded my train at 12:35 and studied Korean for the first hour, then tried to nap the second hour. We arrived at Busan station about 10 minutes late. I had to ask how to get to the subway station, but other than that I had NO problems getting around. Thanks to Lois @HappyBoys_SS501 for providing me with great directions and a fabulous map!
I arrived on the 9th floor of ShinSaeGae Department store and first asked the customer service desk if they spoke English. They said I needed to go back to the 1st floor. Well since I knew the fan sign was on the 9th floor I didn’t want to go ALL the way back down so I was smart and said “Park JungMin fan sign.” To which they understood and a woman led me where I needed to go. I get my ticket and then walked around trying to find something to do to kill the time.
I found a Starbucks. SCORE!!! I can FINALLY use the certificate I won at the church’s ice breaker drawing. While enjoying my Chai Tea Latte, I did some creative writing. After wards, I went to The Face Shop and bought some things there. Then at 5pm I went back upstairs since I didn’t know what time the doors would open and the fan sign started at 6pm.
Between 5:45 and 6, I heard the young girls gasp and squeal ... yup ... you guessed it ... JungMinnie was arriving on the escalator. Shortly after they let us go in to the hall. I was pleasantly surprised that my ticket sat me IN THE FRONT ROW!!! Lois, I’ll NEVER be able to repay you. Hugs and air 뽀뽀!
Min must have arrived a bit late because the fan sign did not start until about 6:10pm. A man, who I believe is his manager, walked out on stage to talk to the staff. He then got on his phone and then the lights start dimming and went out. Then the Not Alone music video starts to play. The music was so loud the seats and floor were vibrating. After the video ends, Min comes out to greet us. He had some mic problems at first. Then 45 seconds later (only know because its timed on my video) he stops speaking and the fan sign begins. My row was first. SCORE!!! I prepared what I wanted Min to write to me and set it on top of a post-it note that said “Can I hug you?” in Korean and in English. However, I didn’t hide it very well because when the staff member rotated my CD the way I should hand it to Min he saw it and said “No.” I sighed and said “It’s okay”, but on the inside I’m screaming “BUT SEOUL GOT TO...THIS IS SO NOT FAIR!!!” When I got to Min he smiled and chuckled at my shirt. (I was wearing the special shirt that Kat made for me that says “Oh my goodness, oh my soul I love Park JungMin” with his picture right in the middle. He then asked me questions in English: Where are you from? How old are you? To which I answered “uh…secret” and He said “Ahhhhh TOP secret.” Then in Korean he asked me if I could speak Korean and I responded back in Korean “I’m sorry but I only speak a little.” To which he responded in Korean “that’s okay.” He shook my hands twice. His hands are soft and strong with a firm hand shake. Before I knew it my conversation and moment with him were over. I was disappointed I didn’t get a hug, but content with what I did get. I sat back down in my seat and took more pictures and observed others. There was a girl dressed like a tiger; a girl who complained about a run in her hose ONE TOO many times; a girl who attempted AND SUCCEEDED in getting another autograph after she had already been up there WITH THE SAME CD; and a few who just went for the hug AND GOT IT!!! Man oh day!!! Why am I always the one who follows the rules??? I should have just gone for it. Oh well, I showed my love through my shirt and my Valentine’s Day card that I gave to him. One of the girls who hugged him also did some of the dance to Not Alone. The fans really showed him their love by bringing gifts. He got a lot of Vitamin Water and Perrier. After one of the signings, a girl dropped her album onto the floor...as it was already falling apart but the CD and everything fell out. Min looked very concerned and worried that maybe the CD had also broke, but I don’t think it did.
I stayed until about 8:15pm. Before I left, I could tell that Min was getting tired and bored. The bright smile had dimmed and the hand waves were getting less expressive, but he was still very kind and tried not to show his exhaustion. He also stretched a bit. After sitting in the same position hunched over to sign autographs, I’m sure his back was hurting. My poor baby...need me to massage your shoulders and back??? I'll gladly do it and you won't even have to pay me. I hear I give good massages...wink...wink.
Any who...the reason I left because I had to go to the loo REAL bad and I was worried that I’d miss my train back. Well little did I know I DID miss my train. The 24 hour time thing confuses me a lot sometimes. Why is America so spoiled and have to have things be so different from everyone else??? So I bought a ticket for 20:00 (8:00pm) thinking it was for 10:00pm. So after getting fast food, which I didn’t want but all I could find, I realized my mistake when I saw the clock reading 21:xx. I was sure the clock was wrong until I figured up my mistake in my head. So I had to go change my ticket and end up paying a little more to get it changed. At first I was kicking myself for leaving the fan sign early because I arrived to the station with an hour to spare, but after that mess I was happy I had that extra time.
Observation on the way home on KTX...there were people at the golf cages golfing at 10:42pm. How can they see that late at night??? Why were they even there that late of a night??? Hmmm...seems crazy but then again maybe not
Well that is my account in a nut shell. Hope I didn’t leave anything out.
Grace and Peace,
Amanda (MinnieMe4PJM)

Park JungMin Fanmeeting and Showcase in Seoul
Because I have become quit lazy these days-I am reposting my friends acct. of the fanmeeting.
Sorry I'm detail oriented so this is VERY detailed.
Kat and I arrive in Seoul. We drop our bags off at the hotel, refresh our make up and hair and then head to the venue where the fan meeting is held. We arrive around 4 and since we hadn’t had anything to eat since before 12, we go searching for things to eat. We find a street vendor selling kimbap so we eat something then head back.
We go to the foreigner’s line to inquire where we get the signed calendars as compensation for the fan meeting that was postponed and learned that they are really for overseas residents, but one lady was so kind that she said to give us the calendar anyway. THANK YOU!!!
Then we just hang around waiting for the time to line up. As we were waiting we were given free gifts and were video taped for a special message for SS501’s 6th anniversary this summer.
They then had us line up to get into the building. Once we got into the SMALL lobby we checked out the merchandise they were selling. I bought some things at one table and then Katrina went to another table to get what they were selling. When we finished we met back up and then one of my students found me. I was so jealous of JiHye because she was in the second row CENTER STAGE and we were ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK of the room. I tried getting her to switch seats with us, even threatened to change her grade to an F, but she wouldn’t budge.Grrr
Soon they opened the doors for us to go in. We found our seats and I went back out to get a necklace that I realized wasn’t in the package I bought, but wanted. While I was out there I saw various people that I've talked to on Facebook or Twitter. They and others enjoyed the special t-shirt I was wearing that Kat had made for me that says “Oh my goodness, oh my soul I love Park JungMin” with Min’s picture right in the middle of it. I gave a letter/prayer that I wrote to Min to one of the staff members. Before the fan meeting started Kat and I prayed for Min and that the fan meeting would be a success.
Kat was very impressed and proud of me that I was a social butterfly and had the courage to talk to people that I've only talked with on Facebook and Twitter. It was so nice to meet other Triple S members and put a face with the people I chat with frequently.
Soon the lights dim and the fan meeting starts with the title track from his first solo album Not Alone. After the song ends, a girl from England comes up to us and says, “you have horrible seats. There are two empty seats next to me.” So we follow her to the 3rd row from the stage on the right. ASSA!!!
Min sings a few more songs then sings the song of his that I sing at the karaoke room. It’s a duet usually with a girl. We had already learned that there was going to be a surprise guest and I can tell that the guest was coming on soon because Min had a HUGE smile on his face. Sure enough when it gets to the girls part the special guest starts singing but it confuses us all because it’s not a girl singing but a guy. The special guest was none other than SS501 Kim HyungJun. So technically I have "seen" all 5 of the guys, but have only recognized 4 of the 5 when seeing them. During the interview session the fans start chanting “보바해 보바해” “kiss, kiss". I guess the MC and Min thought it was for them because they were like “NO” but then he realized it was for him and HyungJun so he said something to HyungJun and then stood there cutely as if to say okay HyungJun do what the fans want I’m waiting. HyungJun dances around Min trying to get up the courage...don't know why they've done like this many times before...and then quickly gives him a kiss on the cheek which Min was totally not ready for and surprised that he actually did it and HyungJun runs off the stage giggling like a girl. They also had some cute Tom & Jerry moments. It was so nice to see, since Min has appeared depressed for a while. The real Min and Sexy Charisma was back and had all our hearts racing. Oooo la la
There were a few malfunctions in the fan meeting. Apparently at the beginning Kat thought she noticed that he had a zipper malfunction, which is of course one of the things he is notorious for doing. Then later he made a mistake in a song he’s performed many times before. The song was “Love Ya” which is a SS501 song. I’m not sure he sang though. If he did it was only his parts. He did dance it though. However, it appears that he forgot how the dance goes at the end because I noticed he messed up and bent over laughing so either he forgot the steps or he forgot the lyrics. It was funny. Another SS501 song he did was “Green Peas” and during the song we through green papered airplanes onto the stage.
At one point during the fan meeting it got silent and I chose to do a cat call (imagine the cartoons where the male whistles at a HOT woman) at that moment. To which the entire audience laughed and Min looked over at the section I was sitting in and smiled big. Later Katrina and I yelled “I LOVE YOU” and again he looked over at us and smiled big. When the fan meeting came to a close I started chanting “사랑해사랑해” (I love you) and I got him to smile again.
We encored him to come out again and he finished with Not Alone again. After the fan meeting we were directed to go outside. My student found me and we got a picture together. After the picture I noticed she was tearing up and that made me cry. She was really a great student.
Katrina and I then waited outside for OVER AN HOUR for Min to come out. The crew kept teasing us by opening the doors to load things in the van and even moved the van twice. After some time some of the crew gave out hand warmers but not enough. When the boy was FINALLY ready to come out they made us move…for some unknown reason because we would not have been in the way or ANYWHERE close to touch him like I’ve been twice. He waved at us when he got into the van and then started saying Good-bye to us over the PA in all the languages he knew. So cute.
After wards we went to Jaksal to eat. Max wasn’t working, but that was okay because that forced MinSu to talk to us in English. After a late, late dinner we went back to the hotel and stumbled into bed around 2am. We were going to go try to see Inkigayo which Min would be in at 10am, but we’d have to get up at 5am to catch a subway and then wait in a line hoping and praying that our numbers would get called. Since we didn't sleep much Friday or Saturday night, when the alarm went off we decided just to stay and sleep then check out of the hotel and go home around 12.

KyuSaeng FM in Seoul
Where to start! Well I guess I will start with getting the tickets. The first night, my co-worker came over to help me get them since it is near impossible for foreigners to buy anything online in Korea! Unfortunately she got here 30 minutes too late! I cried that whole night and the whole next day! The next Monday they had round two for the second fanmeeting. I called at 5:59p.m. knowing the tickets went on sale at 6:00pm. I waited for ten minutes then the guy came on the phone and said that the english line was busy-to call back in ten minutes-I said no-I missed getting tickets last time because they sold out before I could get them. I told him he speaks english well enough so he should help me! It just so happened at that time my hair dresser walked up to my school to see me. Usually by this time-I am gone AND he never comes by to see me. As soon as I saw him-I handed him the phone and said "here you are Korean-you talk to this guy and get me these tickets!" I need to add that this is more than just my hairdresser-him and his wife are also very good friends of mine. He got the tickets then gave me a hug and left. That weekend-MinnieMe and I made our weekly trip to Jaksal (leaders chicken place) to eat. On our way home, we decided to make Christmas presents for all the guys that work at Jaksal and the girls that work at Royal Avenue (including JungMin, Hyun Joong, and of course I had to make one for YoungSaeng!) We spent each night sewing and preparing stockings-it was so much fun!
Fast forwaard to FM weekend!
MinnieMe and I went to Seoul as soon as I finished work. I get to the bus station and she already had our tickets and a snack for me since I hadnt eaten all day! We finally get to Seoul and have to wait for 30 in line in the cold for a taxi. We get to our hotel with no problems , finishing preparing the stockings for jaksal and go to dinner to give the stockings to the guys there. Before we got there i called the boss and told him we were coming. When we arrived, he was outside waiting for us and already had a table set. We ate for a little while and gave them their gifts but left early because their were some men next to us smoking (YUCK!) and it was blowing into our faces. So we took the rest back to the hotel
The next morning we got up and took the 15 minute taxi ride to Royal Avenue. We got there 15 minutes after they opened. I felt so bad for my friend that works there because the entire store was flooded. Apparently some time in the night the coffee machine hose busted and she was working by herself. I offered to help her mop it up but the other employees were coming in to help. We stayed there for about 1 1/2 hrs, then lunch and off to see my man!!!! It took a stressful 45 minute subway ride then another 10 minute taxi ride to get to the university for the FM. The taxi driver had no idea where it was! We finally get there and then have to figure out how to get to the top of the mountain where the FM was being held. We asked some students and they took us up the esculator to heaven! Literally-it stopped at the top of a mountain! Then Finally I saw the sign (on the ground with an arrow). We get to the ticket booth, i give them my information and then they told me they dont have any tickets for me! I was so stressed at this point I yelled "What, WHERE THE HELL ARE MY TICKETS????" MinnieMe was so embarrassed she just walked away! We finally line up and 5 minutes later go into the hall.
The fanmeeting!
All the stress of the weekend disappeared the moment I saw YoungSaeng walk out on stage! They had a question and answer session which i could not understand a word of because it was all in korean-but i didnt care as long as i could see YoungSaengs beautiful smile and hear his gentle voice. He then sung "Im sorry I love you" followed by Kyu's "Never Let You Go". OMG, Kyu came out of his shell and got downright sexy! I was shocked! Then they played rock, paper, scissors and YS won so he got to choose to make a sandwhich or kimbap. He chose to make a sandwhich and i think he called it a well being sandwich but it was anything but because he put alot of bread and mayo on there! Kyu made kimbap and cut it and carefully put it in a bowl. Then they drew three tickets for fans to come up and try the food the guys made. There was a girl from Korea, a girl from the phillippines, and an older woman from Japan. They all said that YS sandwich was better, so he got to make a special drink for Kyu. They brought a table out with several drinks on it and YS got to mix them for Kyu. First he smelled each one to see what it was. When he got to a light yellow liquid-he couldnt figure out the smell so he drank some! He made the most hilarious/adorable face because it was straight lemon juice. After the drinks they talked some more and showed a video of their vacation with Steven Lee. It was so cute-even though there were alot more cuts and pics of KyuJong than there were of YoungSaeng :(. Then the best part!!!!! The room went dark and Young Saeng came up through the stage wearing a shiny silver shirt and tight black pants singing Rains song love story. He came down the stairs, started dancing with the microphone and shyly tore off the silver shirt. He then put the top layer of his shirt behind his neck, lifted the bottom layer slightly to show a little of his tummy and rolled his hips. After seeing this, I was near heart-failure and MinnieMe was next to me doing cat calls since I didnt have the breath or energy to do it myself! As was the case earlier, Kyu came up thru the audience after YS, singing "WussUp!"
He finished then YS and the MC sat down to talk a little while-saying that Kyu was taking a shower-which made the audience go wild at the thought! Then Kyu came out and they talked about YS playing baseball and Kyu going to Lotte World-then they showed a video of it. Next was another drawing for gifts from the guys. A girl 2 seats in front of me was chosen-I was so sad but they did get a good shot of my sign I made for YoungSaeng:
They then showed another video of all five guys together-at which point KyuJong Seemed to become very emotional. Then YS/KJ sung Wings of The World together as a duet. It just didnt seem right that it wasnt all five singing it tho! Then it was over! Now time to shop! Unfortunately I didnt have any money so I settled for a KyuSaeng calendar and a file folder:
We were also given a nice poster of them together, a KJ banner, YoungSaeng banners and flags. We also bought KyuJong, JungMin and YoungSaeng lightsticks. Now we had a dilema-do we go all the way back to our hotel in Jamsil, or do we take our friends offer to go to the 2nd FM at 7pm. We listened to voice of reason and went back to the hotel-only to find out the next day that JungMin was at the second one! MinnieMe was so angry with herself for convincing me not to go to the 2nd one~her punishment is that she now has to wait another month to see JungMin!
Time to say goodbye!
We took the long subway ride back to Jamsil and went back to the hotel to order a pizza for dinner. We were going to go sing, but we were both exhausted so we decided to stay in. As usual though-MinnieMe and I were the female version of Tom-N-Jerry and stayed up laughing and (play)fighting all night! We got up early the next day to head back to Cheonan.
We were both so sad-but more good things are coming soon: January=Park JungMin!
biggest disappointment: security was so strict where i was that i couldnt get any pics during the FM!

Kim Hyun Joong-MK finale
Ok, Ill skip the boring details like what time I got the train and what I ate and go straight to the fanmeeting. I will say God was with me and got me there safely with no inconveniences. When I finally found the DOM Art center-there were two ticket lines-one for Koreans and one for foreigners. I was nervous because the first email I got from Keyeast said that after I transfer the payment they would send a second email with confirmation and final details-but no second email. I was somewhat relieved after talking to others in line and found out they didn’t get a second email either. I was also nervous because I was the very last person in line. As I was waiting, I saw a short man wearing jeans, red t-shirt, white jacket and white hat walk by and immediately recognized him as the man who played KHJ’s father-but no one else noticed him. I finally got my ticket and got to my seat 10 minutes before the show started. Also while waiting, a Korean girl that I met went to the KHJ perfect booth and got me a gift set. It was a box with his picture on the outside, an electric candle, rice cake with his name stamped on it, bottle of water and cell phone cleaner. Once inside I found my seat-section 2 seat 139 (10 rows from the stage-slightly to the left of center stage.) The show started with the indy band from the show singing the theme song-then a female MC came out dressed in their high school uniform. She said some things in Korean then said hana, dul, set KIM HYUN JOONG!! He came up out of the stage singing “One More Time”. He looked really sharp dressed in a black suit but it was obvious that he was exhausted-he had really big bags under his eyes and he looked too thin. After he sung, him and the MC chatted a little then they brought some of the cast on-Im sorry I don’t know their real names but their characters were: BSJ’s father, EunJo, Oh HaNi’s 2 friends, Bong JoonGu (he was so hot—I was surprised!), and Oh HaNi!! They talked a while-from what I could tell they talked about what it was like working with KHJ. Then they brought out a cake to celebrate the finale of the show. Then they had a question/comment session with KHJ. They brought out a big box with questions/ comments from fans. He chose four to discuss then chose the fan he liked the best for a gift. One girl wrote that because of him, she lost 30 kg. This really touched him and he chose her. She got a signed white jogging suit, tennis shoes and a hug from him (so jealous!!! Must work harder to lose weight!! FIGHTING!!!!) Then he sung “Please be Nice To Me” I was a little disappointed because he didn’t take off his shirt-but he did walk in front of my section and lift his shirt to give us a sneak peek!!! After that the band did another song and then they had a 20 minute intermission. When the intermission finished we watched the MK finale-I’m so sad it’s over but like the way it ended! Then he came on stage again singing “Gomapta”. During the song they showed a photo slide show of him throughout the filming-mostly shots of him yawning and trying to find somewhere to sleep or eat really fast. Then it was over!!

My thoughts on recent SS501 news
Why I love SS501--Because of You
Because of you-I have new friends around the world
Because of you-I want to be healthy
Because of you-I followed my dream to learn piano
Because of you-I want to sing
Because of you-I want to dance
Because of you-I feel young
Because of you-I laugh and cry (at the same time!)
Because of you-I have developed new vocabulary like 4D!
Because of you-I don't want to leave Korea
Because of you-I faced my fears to be in crowded situations
Because of you-I realized how much I love photography
Because of you-I have gone all day without eating
Because of you-I started taking better care of my skin
Because of you-I became interested in fashion
Because of You-I have traveled to places I have never thought of going to
Because of you-I spend WAY too much money
Because of you-I have lost a lot of sleep because chatting with my new friends
Because of you-I have learned to use public transportation-in Seoul of all places!
Because of you-I have come to love Ukiss, Kara and Rainbow-groups that I would have not known otherwise
Because of you-I have learned about five of the most beautiful men on the face of this earth
This morning my faith in SS501 was shaken when I read the news that Kim Hyun Joong had left DSP to sign with KeyEast. My initial thoughts were-traitor, selfish ambition, and what was going to happen to my precious Young Saeng? Fortunately, I had to go to work immediately after reading the news so I have had all day to process the information. Here are my current thoughts:
1) DSP has done a terrible job of managing their careers over the past five years. Most of their events have been unorganized or changed at the last minute-not to mention all of the delayed mini album releases and the lack of a second full album after 5 years. So I feel this is a good move for him in order to grow as an entertainer. He has already proven that he can succeed as a solo artist through his many ad endorsements, BOF, and WGM. I would hope that all the guys would move to another agency that would help them develop to their fullest potential as artist. I am very thankful to Hyun Joong because thru him I got to know all five wonderful men that make up SS501!
2) SS501 as a group- the best scenerio possible now would be that all five guys sign with a different agency that would help them grow. They are older now and more mature and developed in their individual talents and interest. To continue this best scenerio-is that they would remain a group while with other agencies and persueing their individual talents. The second best would be that the other four would continue as a quartet and Young Saeng as the leader. This scenerio though is like a hand without a thumb-the hand can still function but would not be as productive as it would if all five fingers where present- and a stand in would not do the trick either because he would always be viewed as the unwanted step brother. While I don't think Hyun Joong is as talented as the others-he is the best looking and most recognizable so they need him to continue. Best scenerio three would be that they each have their own thriving careers. I would be happy with all three scenerios as long as all five are actively visible and remain loyal to TS and as approachable as they are now.
3) Individual careers-I think they can all do well with individual careers. I am not worried about Hyun Joong, Jung Min, or Hyung Joon as far as solo careers go--my biggest concern is for Young Saeng and Kyu Jong. Here is what I think would be good for each member as solo artist:
Hyun Joong-I think he should stick to modeling-that is where he shines the most. I feel he is an ok actor and singer, but an outstanding dancer and model. I know his first love is music-but maybe that is not the best direction for him. He would also be wonderful as the host of a variety talk show-with his 4D personality and off the wall comments-that would be one amazing show!
Young Saeng-obviously he is the most talented singer in the group. He should continue to grow and develop as a singer and songwriter. The songs he has written for SS501 (It's not love and Forever) have become great hits. Also he is very talented in doing voice imitations. I would love to see him have his own animation where he provides the voice for the main character. I would also love to see him writing, composing, and producing songs for other upcoming artist. The only thing holding YoungSaeng back is himself. His lack of self confidence and sh personality is his stumbling block. He has come so far in the past year to overcome both of these- and has proven that he is every bit as sexy, 4D, and capable as Hyun Joong. I would love to see him star in a drama also-I believe in him!
Kyu Jong--like Young Saeng, Kyu Jong has come along way in overcoming his shyness. He also gives Hyun Joong a run for the money in the best looking in the group category!! I feel that Kyu Jong is a much stronger actor than Hyun Joong and love to see him star in a serious role in a drama or big screen movie. I really enjoyed watching him in SETI-but that was child's play-I want to see him shine! Like Hyun Joong-I dont think a solo music career would be best for Kyu Jong. He needs to be seen more than heard! Please dont get me wrong-I think all five are excellent singers and dancers and together they have amazing harmony, but individually I think some of them would do better in other areas.
Jung Min-his first love has always been acting and while he is not bad-his new found passion for fashion would be much better for him. He has a good thing going with Royal Avenue. He is also one of the stronger performers with his singing and dancing. With his personality he would do well in any direction he takes.
Hyung Joon- as most of you know-Hyung Joon is my least favorite member-but I still love him none the less. I love listening to him on music high the few times I saw it on youtube and wish I had a radio so I could listen to it all the time (since I am usually up at 2AM anyway!) Like YoungSaeng-I think Hyung Joon is a wonderful song writer/composer. I have fallen in love with every song of his that I know he has written (Hey G, Is it Me-JungMin solo, Girls-I especially love the song Girls, I wish I could find the full version somewhere to buy!) He should continue with DJing and songwriting. I also really loved watching him in ProGamer. I think he would do well as a Variety Show host--maybe him and JungMin together or him and Hyun Joong together-that would be so cool! Better yet, all five of them have a show together--but we are talking about seperate careers. HyungJoon needs to have a seperate career- out of Hyun Joongs spotlight-otherwise he will always wonder what if.
My hope is that they will continue on as a group together forever like BonJovi, Aerosmith, Kiss, or the Rolling Stones. These groups have managed to have personal lives and careers while maintaining their idol status as a group for decades. As a person-I sometimes want to give up and not believe their words anymore because several of the rumors going around lately have come true (Destination delay and KHJ going solo), but as a true Triple S I choose to believe in them and trust that whatever decisions they make will be for the best. Their love and loyalty to their fans has been tested and proven time and time again-now it is time for us Triple S to show how strong we are and how much loyalty we have for them. Whether together or a part-they will always be Five forever as one in our hearts. Be strong Triple S-do not be moved by rumors!
Because of you-I have new friends around the world

Because of you-I followed my dream to learn piano

Weekend-04172010
My friend came down Friday night from Daejeon-which is about 3 hrs. north of where I live. Yesterday (Saturday) we went on a bus tour of my city-Gyeongju (the first capital of Korea-also known as Korea's open-air museum!). It took us to a park where the original royal family used to go for celebrations, then to the cemetary/park where the royal family is burried. They have excavated the largest one and have turned it into a museum-you can go inside and see replica's of the items that were found in the tomb as well as a glass inclosed area showing were the body was and how it was layed out. Then we went to the oldest astronomical observatory in Asia and Gyeongju national forest. Next they took us to a traditional Korean restaurant/ buffet. The food was so good! After that, we took a 30 minute bus ride up into the mountains to Seokgurum grotto. This place had been forgotten for several hundreds of years until one day a mail man was walking along a path and saw a hole in the grass. He looked through the hole and found the grotto/temple in the mountain- Buddha and other statues fully intact. After spending an hour there, we took the 2.5 km drive halfway down the mountain to Bulguksa Temple-the oldest and most famous temple in Korea. The natural grounds of the place are amazing and the detail in the architecture is so elaborate that it is beyond description. Finally we took the bus back to the train station. We decided to go ahead and get Anoria's train ticket for Sunday--good idea! There was one ticket left! We then went to dinner (hot dogs! Real Korean-huh!) and went to the Rice Cake and Soju festival at the park across the street from my apartment. Apparently this is a big deal-and is the reason there were no more train tickets!! At the festival we watched the Miss GyeongSangpukdo (my province) Padgeant. We missed the first part where they had a few famous Kpop groups (they were girl groups that i didnt know) singing but got to see the traditional dress fashion show and crowning. I wish i thought to take pictures-the dresses and hair styles were so ellaborate and beautiful! In between the fashion show and crowning they had a group come out and play traditional instruments fused together with modern techno music accompanied by a group of extreme dancers (break dancing-to the most difficult degree). Then another group of dancers came out and performed traditional dancing--next the two groups had a dance off! It was so intense and exciting! Today (Sunday) we went to Silla Mellinium Park. This park showcases the different villages during the Sila Dynasty-which ruled Korea for a millenium. It is also where my 2 favorite Korean dramas were filmed: Boys Over Flowers and Queen SeonDuk. The real Queen SeonDuk was the first of three queens that ruled over Korea during the Silla Dynasty. She had many accomplishments during her reign, but her reign was also filled with violence and bloodshed. She died at the young age of 36. While there we got to see a demonstration on how the elite Silla army called the Hwarang trained. The show included sword fighting, martial arts, archery and trick horseback riding. At the park, there is are three different shows: The Secret of the Legendary Ark, Art of the Hwarang, and Tears of the Queen about a love affair between queen Seonduk and a baekjae general. They also have 10 different craft centers where you can make and buy things-which is where I made the mailbox and sign and necklace last time I went! It was fun and I am exhausted, but now I am going to go over to the festival again as I heard there is supposed to be a big Kpop concert at 730 with a lot of top name groups performing! Annyeong!!! (good bye!)
